We all know marketing is the key to success in running a online company, or business. With out proper marketing techniques we won't make it far, so therefore I will go over a few steps that you should look for when choosing an seo, or a website designer for your website.
Conversions, make sure your seo team is focused on your site as much as you are, and this goes with making sure your site is seo friendly, and make sure there making recommendations if your website developer, or seo team is not making recommendations or giving you feed back most of the time there is something wrong, and there not too into your business as what you are, and that can have an effect believe it or not.
I mean just imagine it if every person that you hired was not really looking forward to what your company needed, now wouldn't you think this would totally change things, I mean there is a lot of variables to this, so always make sure you look out for things, and another thing is that a lot of website companies will tell you that there website is seo friendly when most of the time, there full of it!
Designing a website, and marketing a website is 2 totally different things, and most of the time reason website development companies will tell you this is because there trying to make sell, and believe it or not a lot of companies don't even know what seo is, or how it works to the fullest, they know they can tell you what you hear, cause they don't care!
I feel its much fair for a company to tell you your looking at 20k for what your wanting instead of a company telling you that your looking at 6k just so they can make a sale, and feel good about it, I mean think of it wouldn't you much rather be told the truth of how much your website is actually going to cost to get it sold, and converted into a money generating machine.
You know i did a test for fun, I called around probably 10 website companies, and they all told me the same thing, are website are friendly, and you will get listed by the search engines, and told me that main thing that was important was meta tags, titles tags, and site structure which granted this is a small percentage of what really needs to be focused on.
What needs to be focused on is the inbound links, and the quality of the links coming into your site to achieve high rankings, and usually when you have you keyword in your anchor text your going to go up in the search engines, and when I brought this type of stuff up in the conversation they acted confused, then I had one company tell me they try to stay away from seo, after they told me that there websites are seo friendly, and thats what they shoot for, so called after me calling them out in a respectable manner.
